German Tourist Protests Airport Security In... Unique... Fashion

Man Drops Trousers When Asked To Go Through X-Ray Again

If nothing else, Hans Jurgen Oskar von Naguschewski knows how to make a point.

Last week, the 66-year-old German tourist was detained by police in Manila when he dropped his pants before walking through an X-ray machine at Ninoy Aquino International.

"He must have been annoyed that he was asked to walk through the X-ray twice, so he took off his pants," said airport security chief Angel Atutubo, according to the Associated Press.

Police Superintendent Atilano Morada told the Phillipine Daily Inquirer the man "was clearly irked, and he showed it by disrobing."

Media reports state von Naguschewski was heading for Frankfurt before he was detained. He spent the weekend in a Manila jail, and appeared before a prosecutor Monday.

If convicted on the count of lasciviousness, von Naguschewski could face anywhere from six months to six years in prison.
