St. Thomas FBO Opens Under New Management

Execujet Flight Services at Cyril E. King Airport is Once Again Ready for Business as Usual

The Virgin Islands' Execujet Flight Services is open once again, with all-new management running the show.

Execujet lies on St. Thomas in the US territory, and will be run by Roy Romney, its new operations manager. Romney is a long time St. Thomas resident with more than 4 decades of island life, with the better part of it spent within the island's aviation ecosystem. He's excited to hit the ground running and take the facility to the next level. “I’m happy to be part of the team that will continue Execujet’s excellent reputation on St. Thomas,” he said during the reopening. “My approach to managing the FBO is safety first, followed by meeting customer needs and listening to customer feedback.”

Similarly, the new operations supervisor, Cromwell Freeman brings plenty of experience of his own, with 20 years in nearly every facet of FBO operations from ticketing to fueling. His supervision will allow the facility to retain the offerings on hand while it prepares to build a new, modern addition to the premises. The FBO includes all the usual accouterments of an island FBO, with space for flight planning, relaxing, and resting between flights. Perhaps the real claim to fame on St. Thomas lies in Execujet's 24-hour police surveillance and 'round-the-clock video monitoring, with US Customs and Immigration pre-clearance available. The jetset crowd can receive VIP and cargo handling, in addition to lavatory services, ground power unit hookup, potable water, on-call maintenance, air, and yacht charter connections.

“Execujet Flight Services has a 20-year history of aviation excellence on St. Thomas and has been my baby since 2009,” said company president Britt Harrington. “Between the hurricanes of 2017 and COVID, the past few years have had their hurdles, and I’m thrilled to have this new team in place.”
