ACROHELIPRO Recognized By FAA For ADS-B Contributions

Awarded "Partner In Safety" Honors

ACROHELIPRO Global Services Inc. recently received recognition from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a "Partner in Safety," resulting from the company’s substantial contribution to the Automatic Dependant Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) program trial, which the FAA recently integrated into the US Automatic Dependant Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) program.

ACROHELIPRO tells ANN it successfully performed more than 450 ADS-B glass cockpit and avionics installations during the Alaska Capstone program trial, and has become recognized as the industry leader for carrying out the equipment installations.

"We have valuable experience that comes with completing 450 system installations, and the expertise acquired from working on the initial integration and subsequent trouble-shooting processes that were derived from the implementation of this highly-technical system," explains Elvis Moniz, Director of Avionics.

An additional advantage for operators as the technology spreads throughout North America, is that ACROHELIPRO can perform the ADS-B installation from either of its two avionics facilities; located in Andalusia, Alabama and Langley, British Columbia.

ACROHELIPRO Global Services Inc. provides comprehensive helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul services including engines, avionics, dynamic components, accessories and structures.
