Embraer Expanding MRO Network To Alliance Airport

Will Build Second Hangar For Supporting E-Jet Fleet

Brazil-based Embraer announced it is expanding its network of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities in the U.S. The company will open a new owned service center at Perot Field/Fort Worth Alliance Airport (KAFW) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Embraer will partner with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County, and State of Texas to start operations in an existing hangar in early 2025, while building a second hangar it anticipates will open in 2027. The new facilities for service operations will significantly add to Embraer’s capacity to support its E-Jet customers in the U.S.

Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support said of the project, “This expansion will significantly increase the capacity, capability, and footprint of our services network by providing world-class support to our customers and the growing fleet of E-Jets in North America. Also, it is part of Embraer’s growth strategy in the US.”

The new facility will expand Embraer’s global service network to 81 authorized service centers and 12 owned facilities. Finalization of the project awaits approval of proposed incentives by local government.

Embraer is a global aerospace company with business units is Commercial and Executive aviation, Defense and Security, and Agricultural aviation. The company designs, develops, manufactures, and sells aircraft and aircraft systems, and also provides a full range of services and support following sales.
