Dragon Aviation Announces The Return Of 'The Dragon'

Replacement Strikemaster Brought To Air Show Ready In Just 10 Weeks

On February 26, 2011 a tragic accident destroyed Dragon Aviation's air show aircraft "The Dragon". Now just a little over two months later Dragon Aviation is proud to announce that "The Dragon" has returned.

New Strikemaster "The Dragon"

Dragon Aviation debuted "The Dragon" at The JSOH Air Show at Andrews Air Force Base on May 20 to 22.

"It took a monumental effort to find a replacement aircraft and then to transform it into "The Dragon" in just 10 weeks," said Andy Anderson President of Dragon Aviation. "There are not many Strikemasters left in the world, much less in good enough condition to be able to be put on the air show circuit. Linda and I would like to thank all of our friends that volunteered to help, working long hours nearly seven days per week, the support and help we received was overwhelming.

"I would personally like to thank my partner Jerry and most of all, my wife Linda for all of the support and the hard work it took to get this aircraft ready," he said.
