Richard Kaczmarek brought out their fresh import of Zonsen aircraft engines to Sun 'n Fun 2024, showing off the potential of an affordable Rotax clone for the US market. Zonsen's Chinese origins may be polarizing to some, but Kaczmarek says the consumer wins in the end.

More competition, more parts support, more engines, and lower prices are always good to hear for the average aircraft builder, and the Zonsen's warranty could help assuage any lingering doubts. It's new, of course, but for those willing to give it a try, it might prove itself worthy of attention in time.
