Honeywell JetWave High-Speed Satellite Communication Installed On G550

Pentastar Aviation Completes The Aftermarket Work

A Honeywell JetWave High-speed satellite communications system has been installed on a Gulfstream G550 aircraft by Pentastar Aviation.

The install was done concurrently with the Gogo AVANCE L5 system, the first aftermarket installation of both systems on this airframe. Additionally, Pentastar was able to complete the install of both systems in minimal time reducing the client’s downtime.

“Connectivity is vital for business travelers to be truly productive,” said Jesse Beard, Pentastar Aviation’s Director of Engineering & Inside Sales.  “Honeywell’s JetWave provides the added speed and consistency our clients need to stay connected no matter where their travels take them.”

Honeywell’s JetWave Satellite Communications terminals provide in-flight Ka-band global broadband service. Operating on the Inmarsat Global Xpress network, the JetWave system is designed to provide seamless, broadband-class data connectivity around the world.  The hardware and network are optimized for mobility, providing an outstanding passenger connectivity experience.
