Aviat Signs New Husky Dealer

Corbi Aircraft Sales Signs On With Aviat

Corbi Aircraft Sales has been added to the growing list of aircraft dealers taking on Aviat Aircraft's popular Husky for sales and service. Aviat, which manufactures the Husky, Pitts Special biplane, Pup, and Eagle biplane, has seen a steady increase in demand for the mission profiles that the Husky provides.

Long respected by bush pilots, charter operators, cargo haulers, law enforcement organizations and flight training schools, the Husky has found rapidly expanding acceptance among recreational pilots. The aircraft's excellent handling on regular wheels, tundra tires up to 33 inches in diameter, straight or amphibious floats and skis has made it attractive for a wide range of commercial and recreational applications.

Corbi Aircraft Sales, which has been in the business of sales and service for 52 years, has focused its efforts on twin engine aircraft and high performance singles. "The Husky made a perfect fit and an ideal expansion move for us," said company president Ron Corbi. "We appreciate the tremendous versatility of the Husky and believe we'll have no trouble finding a market for this plane. More and more we see pilots who have sophisticated cross country aircraft and really want something different for weekend adventures. The Husky fits that bill."

Corbi will provide checkouts and tailwheel endorsements for pilots who need the signoff.
