King Schools Returns Envision Flight Conference to the Seas

Kings to Host Third Annual Aviation Event Aboard the Majestic Princess Cruise

The sweethearts of aviation education, John and Martha King, have committed to a third year of the Envision Flight Conference. For the second time in a row, the week-long event will be hosted on the Majestic Princess cruise ship.

The inaugural Envision Flight Conference had a similar vision- though with a significantly less extravagant venue. It was hosted in late September 2023 at San Diego’s Coast Air Center at Montgomery Field (MYF), opening a space for flight school and aeronautical university professionals to exchange ideas, experiences, and training tips.

“Our vision for this event was to create a unique program that not only offered exceptional educational opportunities for our flight school and university customers, but also connected vendors with an outstanding customer base,” stated Brian Hough, King School’s Senior VP of Business Development and Sales.

John and Martha took the conference sea-borne for the first time in 2024. The duo made things even more interesting by performing a mock FAA courtroom act featuring ‘Judge Martha’ as well as bringing in 12 other guest speakers to discuss industry trends, mental health, generational dynamics in flight training, and Part 107 drone education. The ship also docked in Cozumel, Mexico, for a full day of tropical fun.

King Schools is returning the Envision Flight Conference to the Majestic Princess cruise again this year. The ship will depart from Fort Lauderdale on November 2, 2025, and head toward Costa Maya, Mexico, for its first pit stop on November 4. The trip will dock twice more, once in Roatan, Honduras, and the other in Cozumel, before returning to Florida on November 8.

Along the way, cruise-goers will listen to presentations from numerous guest speakers. Several are from the King Schools staff, including John, Martha, Brian Hough, and CEO Barry Knuttila. The rest are industry professionals, ranging from university professors to business owners to Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs).
