We're Hoping This Is The Year We Finally Win...
The world's only annual new aircraft
sweepstakes has just gotten more exciting. Sporty's has upped the
ante for the its Skyhawk Sweepstakes this year to include more
prizes and winners. In addition to awarding a brand-new Cessna 172S
Skyhawk SP to one lucky winner, more than two dozen additional
prizes will be awarded on Sweepstakes Day as well as monthly prizes
throughout the year.
The grand prize winner will become the proud owner of a Cessna
172S Skyhawk SP on July 14, 2004. This aircraft lists for more than
$200,000 and comes equipped with a complete Bendix/King avionics
suite, including a KLN 94 IFR-approach certified GPS with color
moving map, a KMD 550 Multifunction Display, a KT-76C Transponder,
a KAP 140 dual-axis Autopilot with altitude select and two KX-155A
Nav/Comms. This package also features Bendix/King Data Link
Weather, general aviation's first high-speed weather network, which
displays NEXRAD images, MET ARs, TAFs and PIREPs in near real time.
A pair of panel-installed Bose�Aviation X Headsets is also
included.
Additional Prizes
Sporty's will also award one second place prize of a Segway
Human Transporter, five third place prizes of SP-200 hand-held
NAV/COMs, 10 fourth place prizes of a choice of any Sporty's DVD
Course (Recreational, Private, Instrument or Air Facts) as well as
10 fifth place prizes of Sporty's Original Flight Gear Bags.
Sporty's will also conduct 11 monthly drawings during the year for
a $500 Sporty's Gift Certificate.
This year's Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP marks the nineteenth straight
year of Sporty's Aircraft Sweepstakes and the twenty-second
sweepstakes aircraft. Sporty's first sweepstakes aircraft (a Cessna
Skyhawk) was awarded in 1986. Since then, Sporty's has awarded at
least one brand new aircraft to lucky winners even year.
