Associated Aviation Optimistic About Canadian Helicopter MRO Market

CEO Sees Opportunities In The North American Region

Associated Aviation (Associated) and its subsidiary, Timber Wolf Aviation say they are continuing to increase market share in the North American and International helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) markets, and fully intend to build on this success when it attends the Helicopter Association of Canada's 15th Annual Convention and Exhibition in Vancouver, British Columbia this week.

Following a successful Heli-Expo 2011 in Orlando, where the company secured repair and overhaul contracts with fleet operators from Europe, South America and North America, Associate's CEO Adrienne Robinson says she has been busy scheduling meetings with Canadian helicopter operators and MRO service providers that are committed to delivering exceptional quality, and superior customer service to their clients.

"Heli-Expo served as a barometer for Associated Aviation; providing us with a clear view of the helicopter MRO landscape, its short-comings, and how a customer-focused organization like Associated can meet the needs that are not being met by the traditional MRO providers in Canada and the USA," explains  Robinson. "With our strategically-located Central Canadian maintenance facility and our experienced technical team, we are ideally suited to support Canadian and US customers operating platforms including the Eurocopter AS350 and AS355, the Sikorsky S76 and S61 and the Bolkow BO105."

Robinson explains that since Heli-Expo, she has seen a steady increase in interest from North American helicopter operators. For Associated Aviation, this translates to a busy and highly-motivated workforce. During this early period of economic recovery for the North American helicopter industry, she encourages operators to question their traditional service providers, as well as to research newer companies like Associated who have a unique perspective on service delivery, and who offer unique and highly-effective solutions for legacy aircraft repair and overhaul in today's fiscally-responsible operating climate.
