New TBM 930 Delivered To European Corporate Owner

Italian-Based Industrial Group Owner Of The New Airplane

A European corporate operator has taken delivery of a new Daher TBM 930 as its fourth TBM family aircraft.

Daher delivered the TBM 930 to the corporate flight department of an Italian-based industrial group this month, the fourth TBM family aircraft this customer has acquired.

The operator’s first purchase of a TBM family aircraft was a TBM 700A 17 years ago, followed by a TBM 700B variant in 2003 and a TBM 850 in 2006, leading up to the all-new TBM 930 version.

The TBM 930 is the latest member in Daher’s very fast turboprop family, and was unveiled earlier this year. According to the manager of the company, the series of TBM aircraft have been perfectly matched to its transport requirements, performing shuttle flights between factory sites in Italy, France and Austria that produce flexible manufacturing systems, as well as for visits to European customers.

Typical flights involve two hours maximum travel time, with international destinations including airports in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany and Sweden. This activity generates 250-300 flight hours annually.

“We thank our customer for its continued loyalty to the TBM,” commented Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of Daher’s Airplane Business Unit. “This also is a confirmation that our expanded TBM product line – based on the TBM 900 and TBM 930 – meets the evolving needs of many European operators who are fully benefiting from the use of very fast turboprop aircraft."
