Frasca: TruFlite FTD Sales Continue Strong

Newest Customers Include Delta State University and CTC Aviation

Delta State University and CTC Aviation are the latest customers for Frasca International’s reconfigurable flight training device, the TruFlite. The TruFlite was introduced last year with over 30 units delivered to date. The TruFlite can be converted between multi and single engine aircraft in minutes and utilizes computer generated instrumentation (CGI) developed by Frasca.

Delta State, Cleveland, MS has placed an order for three TruFlites, all featuring 172R and Duchess flight models, King KX 155A avionics package with KLN 94 GPS and TruVision, Frasca’s textured visual display system. One of the devices will also include a 172RG flight model and TruVision 170, a 170 degree wrap-around visual display system that allows for teaching ground reference and other VFR maneuvers.

CTC Aviation Training, with locations in England and New Zealand, has ordered two Frasca TruFlites, one for each location.  The Southampton, England TruFlite will be configured as a Beechcraft Duchess, while the Hamilton, NZ unit will be configured as a Piper Seminole.  Both units will be FNPT II approved with single channel projected visual systems.

Other recent TruFlite customers include Arrow Aviation, McAir Aviation, ATP Academy, UND, TVI, Airways Flight Training, PAIFA, Ohio State University and others. Sales of the helicopter version, the TruFliteH, have also been brisk, with 10 units going to Silver State Helicopters and others on order.
