Maverick TwinJet Bellies In

Been There, Done That...

The factory tells us that this homebuilt bird (registered to Mike Seavall of Bend, OR), completed without the current factory's assistance is operating sans a new landing gear design. As long-time ANN readers may remember, the original prototype (file pix shown) had its share of gear problems, as well, and a factory demo ship was lost a few months ago while figuring out other gear problems prior to going down short of the runway. The factory claims that a newer gear design is more reliable.
