NASA to Send Personnel to Space Symposium

Speakers Set to Address Growth of Spacefaring Economy, Mars, Artemis Program

NASA is holding court at the Space Foundation's 37th Space Symposium, running from April 5 to 7 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The event will include deputy administrator Pam Melroy and associate administrator Bob Cabana. Their speeches will be streamed through NASA's TV channel, application, and website from the first day of the conference. Their involvement will include lectures on the current NASA strategy for extra-lunar travel, from the Artemis program to the Moon to Mars initiative.

A roster of NASA personnel will also round out the event, with specialists from Space Operations, Exploration Systems Development, Space Technology Mission Directorate, and Science Mission Directorate making their appearance on day one at a panel focusing on Artemis and its effects on the space industry. Their expertise will help flesh out participants' and attendees' knowledge of the burgeoning space economy, going over the changes just over the horizon with future private space station proliferation, extraterrestrial internet, and more.

On the second day, registered media participants can attend the "Small Satellites, Big Missions: Pathfinding CubeSats Exploring the Moon and Beyond," conference with NASA brass. Interested participants must go through the Space Foundation to participate.
