ATG Announces New Board Members

Aviation Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) announced the addition of Brig. Gen (Res) Uzzi Rozzen, IAI Corporate Vice President for R&D and Strategic Planning, and Bendrix Bailey, founder and former CEO of Measurement Computing Corporation, to its Board of Directors.

The new addition will bring a total of 11 seats on the ATG Board of Directors.

“ATG has said from the beginning we are doing this right - with the right products, the right suppliers, and the right team,” said George Bye (below, right), Chairman of ATG.

“Adding these two gentlemen to our Board of Directors supports the high caliber team that we are continuing to build in the company.”

“I am very excited to be IAI’s representative to the ATG Board of directors,” said Rozzen. “We at IAI expect that a very unique and most cost-effective training aircraft will come out of our strategic partnership with ATG.”

“ATG is the most exciting adventure of aviation in my lifetime,” said Bailey. “Being a part of this adventure is a high point of my career.”

Rozzen joined IAI in September 2001, and in June 2002 was appointed Corporate Vice-President for R&D and Strategic Planning. He served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) between 1967 and 1998, where he commanded two fighter jet squadrons, served as Chief of Operations at the Israel Air Force headquarters, commanded two major Air Force bases and was Head of a Division in the IDF General Staff. After retiring from military service, Gen. Rozzen acted as an assistant for Civil CB Defense to several Israeli Ministers of Defense. He has his MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School - Monterey Gen. Rozzen will be replacing Moti Boness on the Board of Directors for ATG.

Mr. Bailey recently sold his company, Measurement Computing Corporation, to National Instruments of Austin, Texas. He led the company from inception through product maturity, becoming the number two supplier world-wide of PC-based data acquisition boards. He was responsible for all phases of finance, marketing and sales, research and development, manufacturing and MIS systems development in a company of over 80 employees. Mr. Bailey holds a BS in Business Administration from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts and is an active pilot, archer and outdoorsman.
