GII Blended Winglet Production Going Away?

NBAA Deal May Be Final Offer

If you operate a Gulfstream II, now may be the time to invest in Blended Winglet™ Technology. New pricing of $459,500 installed, will be in effect at NBAA in Orlando (FL) next week. Five Blended Winglet shipsets are currently available. But, after that, there will be at a least 6-month lead time for additional shipsets.

"We've found that operators who are ready to invest in Blended Winglet Technology want their winglets right now," says Aviation Partners Inc. CEO Joe Clark. "Once the five GII Blended Winglet shipsets we have in stock are sold that could be it. To start up production again we will need orders for at least 10 shipsets. The lead time for additional shipsets will be considerable and we may be closing down production of GII Blended Winglet shipsets in 2004. If you have ever wanted Winglets for your straight wing GII, now is the time to order."

Over the past 10 years over 68% of the available GII fleet has been upgraded with Blended Winglet Technology and re-branded as Performance Enhanced IISPs. One of the most successful aerodynamic enhancement programs in the history of aviation, Blended Winglets boost range of the venerable GII by over 7% while improving climb performance, initial cruise altitude and handling characteristics along with resale and aesthetic value.

"The future is on the wing," says Aviation Partners Inc. Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dick Friel. "If you're a GII operator, however, it may be on your wings only if you act right now."
