Certified: Max-Viz EVS-1500 For King Air 200/300

Initial Release Applies To Proline-21 Equipped Aircraft

Enhanced vision from Max-Viz is now available for Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 aircraft, the company announced Thursday. STC #SA02372AK has been granted for installation of the Max-Viz EVS-1500 Infrared Enhanced Vision System.

The Installation Kit for the EVS-1500 on King Air aircraft includes all components (including IR sensor) and documentation required to install the Max-Viz Enhanced Vision System in King Air aircraft equipped with a video compatible Integrated Display System (IDS) or stand alone display monitor, and is available exclusively to all repair stations through Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (formerly known as RAPID). The initial release of this STC applies to King Air Aircraft equipped with the Rockwell-Collins Proline-21, with software enabled for video display, and includes both the standard and Premier yoke upgrades. Aftermarket retrofits to aircraft not factory equipped with the video enabled Proline-21, can be accomplished via revision, to include a certified video capable IDS such as the Garmin G1000 and Universal 890R or a standalone video-capable MFD. The list of available EVS compatible displays is growing rapidly.

The installation also includes a standard connection for Video Capable Electronic Flight Bags that accept and display an NTSC RS-170 analog video feed.
