McFarlane Now Deals TLGW Titanium Landing Gear

Assemblies, Springs, Other Components For Cessna Aircraft

McFarlane Aviation announced it is now the exclusive distributor for The Landing Gear Works (TLGW) landing gear products for Cessna 180 and 185 and other Cessna aircraft including titanium main gear, tail gear springs, tail when assemblies, tail cone angle kit, trim wheel, titanium axles, tailwheel fork bearings, seal kits and other components.

TLGW holds STC-PMA approval for OEM replacements and titanium upgrades using high-grade materials. Titanium upgrades can save up to 34 lbs of weight compared to steel on a Cessna 185.

TLGW also offers heavy-duty and light-duty steel landing gear legs that are subject to heat treatment, titanium-cadmium plating, and finished with two-part epoxy primer and polyurethane overcoat for extended durability.

Tom Anderson, Founder and CEO of TLGW, has over 50 years of experience in the aviation industry. He said, “McFarlane Aviation is the ideal partner to distribute our parts to the general aviation market. Their expertise with Cessna, comprehensive e-commerce platform and diverse product portfolio will drive the continued success of Landing Gear Works.”

Paul Theis, Product line Manager with McFarlane said, “The Titanium components are innovative and give our customers an option for durable, safe airframe components. Often, many people think of McFarlane as a more affordable option compared to OEMs, but we’re also very driven to offer our customers upgraded components that improve a pilot’s experience. These parts do exactly that.”
