SUN ‘n FUN Career Fair Expands

Five Days and Twenty Aerospace Employers

SUN ‘n FUN, the Lakeland, Florida non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of aviation education and renowned for the annual week-long fly-in and airshow of the same name, announced on 22 March 2023 that its longstanding partnership with leading aviation job website, JSfirm.com will continue in 2023.

The two entities will jointly host the 10th Annual SUN ‘n FUN Career Fair—a networking event featuring a broad cross-section of aerospace employers and savvy showgoers aspiring to become employees thereof.

This year’s event has been expanded to five-days, kicking off on Tuesday, 28 March and continuing through Saturday, 01 April from 09:00 to 16:00 CDT daily.

JSfirm.com executive director Abbey Hutter stated: “Expanding the Career Fair that takes place during SUN ‘n FUN was a common request from participating companies and job seekers alike. Since 2014 it has grown from a one-day event to a three-day event, now we are up to five days this year!”

Aerospace Center for Excellence scholarship director Richele Floyd remarked: “The stage is set for next week. We always look forward to having hiring companies onsite. The networking capability truly is limitless, even outside of show hours. Our partnership, year after year, with JSfirm.com has continued to grow and we are thrilled to have a new five-year agreement in place—it just made sense.”

The following companies will be represented at the 2023 SUN ‘n Fun Career Fair: Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services, Air Wisconsin, Commteair, Endeavor, the FAA, flyExclusive, Frontier Airlines, GoJet Airlines, Legends Airways, LIFT, Mesa Airlines, National Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, Plane Sense, PSA Airlines, Republic Airways, Silver Airways, SkyWest Airlines, and VistaJet.
