Can't Get Enough Of the 'Speedbird?'

Sportys Remembers the Concorde Via DVD

With all the hullabaloo over the passing era of the Concorde, there remains a LOT of curiousity about this amazing aircraft.

For those of you with a thirst for more scuttlebutt on these excessively speedy bit of history, there is a neat new way to find out more about what it was like to fly the beast. Sportys has introduced a DVD compendium on the Concorde that was filmed at the peak of the Concorde’s success.

In "How They Flew the Concorde," you’ll get to witness an actual flight from New York to London – from a pilot’s-eye-view in the cockpit. This exciting program takes a look at what was the world’s fastest and highest flying commercial airliner, attaining speeds of 1,350 mph and altitudes of 60,000 feet. You will also see the sheer luxury afforded its 100 passengers in exchange for the incredible $8000 one-way ticket.

This is a completely new video and includes over 30 minutes of never-before-seen bonus footage. Produced in Color, the program is approximately 75 minutes long.
