SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2007-21-11
SUMMARY: We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above that will supersede an existing AD.

This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by the aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product.

The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as: This Airworthiness Directive (AD) is prompted by occurrences where abrasive damage (chafing) has been found on oil pipe assemblies in the area of the torque oil pressure transducer on the engines of some PC-12 aircraft.

Incorrect assembly after maintenance tasks can decrease distances between various pipe/hoses assemblies and adjacent components.

Damaged pipes can cause oil leakages in the area of the engine.

This AD requires actions that are intended to address the unsafe condition described in the MCAI.
