Airborne Oshkosh24 Day 5: Carbon Cub UL Flt Test, SnF25 Update, Affordable Expo

07.26.24: Checking Out An Ornithopter, Kay’s Speedster, Electric Aircraft Symposium, Night Air Show, Jack Pelton Pt5

One of the highlights of ANN CEO and Test Pilot, Jim Campbell’s 51st Oshkosh was the chance to fly the latest bird from CubCrafter, powered by a Rotax 916... and built to be tough and light.

Even through some off airport landings on a recently plowed field, the Carbon Cub UL stood up in a great way... this may be their best effort yet. Even with Oshkosh in full swing, we can’t wait for the 51st rendition of the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo, where, once again, ANN will serve as their media partner. Big upgrades, numerous new features and some really inspired planning should make this event the best yet... and we’ll be there to show you EVERYTHING. Those who miss the old Sebring and DeLand Fly-Ins now have something to look forward to... using the best sport aviation facility in the South, a new January 9-11 event will be held on the best parts of the Sun ‘n Fun campus and with a solid simple plan that emphasizes flying, fun, education, fun, plenty of exhibitor access, fun and a well-organized facility plan... which should also be... fun! All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!

Airborne's Oshkosh Day 5, 07.26.24, is chock full of info in this Daily News Episode, Friday, July 26th, 2024... Presented by Aero-TV veteran videographer and Airborne Host Holland Lee.
