MACTS Annual Event To Be Held Next Month

Annual Show Features Aviation Clinics And Displays

The Midwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show (MACTS) will be held  January 19-21, 2007 at the newly-renovated Busch Student Center at Saint Louis University. The MACTS is an event designed to bring every aspect of aviation together for one exciting weekend of presentations and displays by professional educators and aviation industry service and product providers.

The event's organizers say MACTS is for anyone interested in any aspect of aviation, and best of all it's free!  The schedule includes presentations by world-class aviators sharing with you their exciting adventures in the wide world of aviation. Record setting test pilots, military veteran aviators, professionals in rotorcraft, soaring, ballooning, sport pilot, airplanes, aircraft manufacturers, aeronautical clubs, associations and more will all be on-hand and available over the weekend.

Saturday evening MACTS will host the 2nd Annual Midwest Aviation Awards Banquet where it will recognize select aviators for their contributions and accomplishments in aviation. Ms. Colleen Barrett, President of Southwest Airlines will be the keynote speaker for this exciting event.

For the 37th year in a row, the Greater St Louis Flight Instructors Association (GSLFIA) will host a Flight Instructor Revalidation Clinic, the longest consecutive run in the country! At this event CFIs and anyone interested in learning more about aviation instruction can attend a very wide variety of presentations to fit their personal development needs. You can register for the FIRC at GSLFIA's website -- see the link below.

The Saint Louis Maintenance Safety Counselors will be presenting their annual IA revalidation clinic Friday, 19 January through Saturday 20 January at MACTS. IA’s renewing their privileges will have the option of renewing in one day or two.

The event's organizers say they host the annual event so all aviators can have more fun, fly safely, and pursue their aviation interests to the fullest. MACTS urges everyone to check its website (link below) to plan your visit to the 2007 Midwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show.
