Ontic Plans Support Current And Future Operators Of The Aircraft
Aerospace OEM support company Ontic has undertaken a comprehensive support program for Hawker 800 series owners with repair and exchange services of ailerons modified as part of the Aviation Partners, Inc. (API) Blended Winglet upgrade through its MRO center-of-excellence facility located in Houston, TX. Since receiving STC approval in 2004, API has completed over 130 installations of the Hawker 800/800XP Blended Winglet systems worldwide. With a proven track record of performance, it is now amongst the most cost effective modifications available to Hawker operators.
In continued support of both current and future operators, Ontic maintains critical repair criteria for fielded systems ensuring total product sustainability over the aircraft lifecycle. These aileron repairs, performed at Ontic’s Houston facility, are augmented by immediately available spares from its extensive rotable inventory. Also, Ontic is able to deliver replacement ailerons anywhere in the world within 24 hours of a customer’s call since the facility is located one mile from the George Bush International Airport.
Ontic’s global legacy focus is supported from manufacturing and MRO facilities in Chatsworth, CA; Houston, TX; Slough and Cheltenham in the U.K.; and a fifth Ontic Asia-Pacific regional location opening in the near future.
Ontic is a wholly owned subsidiary of BBA Aviation plc, with over 50 years of aerospace product manufacturing and aftermarket support experience.
