Southeast Aerospace Gains Part 145 Approval In UK

Certification Enables Work On UK-Registered Aircraft

Melbourne, Florida-based Southeast Aerospace (SEA) announced it has been granted Part 145 approval by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for the UK and Ireland, enabling SEA to continue delivering its aviation products and services around the globe.

The approval under Part 145 allows SEA to issue UK-specific 8130 certificates, similar to the airworthiness / return to service form used in the U.S. In this manner, SEA will be in full compliance with the regulatory requirements in Britain and Ireland, ensuring that SEA will be able to provide seamless support for UK-registered aircraft and components.

The certification ensures adherence to 14 CFR Part 145 and the Maintenance Annex Guide agreement between the UK and U.S., and bolsters SEA’s reputation as a trusted provider in aviation globally.

Greg Rodriguez, Vice President of Technical Services said, “Obtaining UK CAA PART 145 approval demonstrates our dedication to upholding the highest standards of compliance and service excellence, allowing us to provide uninterrupted support to our valued customers in the UK and Ireland.”

SEA supports the needs of government, corporate, and general aviation fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft around the world. It provides a broad range of products and services including avionics installation and upgrades, component repairs, mission systems aircraft mods and completions, support of government programs as a prime and subcontractor, and also engineering, design, and STC development.
