Rotax Owner Website Posts New Tech Video

How-To For Adjusting BING Carb Needle

A new video on the proper procedures for adjusting the BING Carb needle positions has been posted at the website Rotax-Owner.com.

Rotax 912

The video is the latest in a series of e-Learning Technical Videos, and it covers the proper procedures for adjusting the BING carb slide needles. The needle adjustment may be required when overly high mag drops above 300rpm are experienced from incorrect mixture settings. Such a procedure may be required when transitioning from winter to summer operations, relocating the aircraft's home airport from sea level to 5,000+ feet, or when any other significant change in atmospheric conditions takes place.

Rotax Owners, Operators & Maintenance Technicians can all benefit from this very latest e-learning video presentation. Registration for the site is free and also includes entry into a free drawing for "The Ultimate Rotax-Owner Accessory Kit" valued at over $1,200.

Rotax-Owner.com is a Factory Authorized web based support system which allows its 32,000+ registered members a unique e-mail notification service of all Critical to Safety Service Information as released by the Rotax Factory, including access to complete Information, Education and Support for their Rotax Aircraft Engines.
