AEA To Debut 2004 Pilot's Guide to Avionics at OSH

Essential guide to avionics for private pilots is free!

One of the best freebies at Oshkosh in 2003 grows bigger and better for its 2004 edition. With articles on avionics hot topics like weather, TAWS, glass cockpits and 2004’s new products, the Guide also includes an all new avionics glossary.

Published by the Aircraft Electronics Association, the Pilot’s Guide to Avionics is a comprehensive four-color guide that features numerous articles aimed to help pilots make better avionics buying decisions. Included in the guide is a directory of government-certified avionics and instrument shops to help pilots locate the trained experts for equipment sales, installation and service.

This FREE guide is the information source for pilots everywhere, and will be distributed first at EAA’s AirVenture, followed by the NBAA Trade Show, AOPA Expo, Helicopter Association International Expo, Women in Aviation Conference, the AEA Convention and Trade Show and all AEA regional meetings. It will also be circulated to numerous flying clubs.

Come by Booths 2035–2036 in Hangar B to pick up your FREE copy. AEA will also be giving away a Sporty’s Flight Gear Bag -- drop by for your chance to win!

The Aircraft Electronics Association represents nearly 1,200 aviation businesses, including repair stations that specialize in maintenance, repair and installation of avionics and electronic systems in general aviation aircraft. AEA membership also includes instrument facilities, manufacturers of avionics equipment, instrument manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, major distributors, and educational institutions.
