Judge Rules SWA Not Liable For FA's Rhyme

Jury: "Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Moe" Wasn't Racial Slur

Here's a story you should know
About Eenie, Meenie, Minie and Moe.
A pair of sisters sued on the basis
Eenie, Meenie and Minie are racist.

Southwest Airlines' Jennifer Cundiff
Thought of herself as quite the pundit.
As passengers boarded her flight that day,
Jennifer was heard to say:
"Eenie, Meenie, Minie Moe,
"Pick a seat, we gotta go."

That offended sisters Louise and Grace
They thought the rhyme was in bad taste.
So Grace Fuller and Louise Sawyer
Went out to find themselves a lawyer.

The sisters said they had been slurred
And hoped a federal judge concurred.
Their lawyer hoped that he could show
They were hurt by Eenie, Meenie and Moe.

But eight federal jurors did decide
The lawyer ought to take a ride
They ruled Southwest was not to blame
For Jennifer's little rhyming game.

The sisters both were turned down cold
And now our little story's told.
Southwest says it was all in jest,
And claimed funny FA's are the best.

As for the lawyer, Scott A. Wissel,
And the little lawsuit he hoped would sizzle,
Let this be a lesson, sport,
Harmless rhymes are no cause for tort.
