Woman Sues American Airlines After Unpleasant Wake-Up Call

$200,000 Claim Says Carrier Didn't Assist In Removing Man

By the looks of things, suing American Airlines seems to be a popular pastime of late... but the latest suit has nothing to do with tarmac strandings, or baggage fees and lost tips.

A 21-year-old woman filed a lawsuit against the Fort Worth-based carrier Monday, claiming she awoke on a flight from DFW to Los Angeles last week to find a man sitting next to her, pleasuring himself.

What's worse, Centava Dozier soon discovered... evidence... of the man's apparent act. In her hair. (Those who have seen the film "There's Something About Mary" know where we're going with this -- Ed.)

Dozier's suit asks for $200,000 from the carrier, reports Fox News, claiming she asked the cabin crew for help after she discovered the man, who was not sitting in his assigned seat.

The lawsuit claims she did not receive any help from the crew; American maintains its staff took 'appropriate action' (which leads one to question, um, just what "appropriate action" in this case is? Is there a dedicated page in the Crew Ops manual?)

The man was arrested after the plane landed at LAX. Dozier was heading to California to visit friends and family for spring break.
