"These installations mark the first of several EASy II upgrades currently in progress or scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2012," said Jeremy Thomas, Avionics Product Director, StandardAero Business Aviation. "As business aviation continues to recover, we’re seeing increased interest in upgrades like Honeywell’s EASy II flight deck upgrade."

The Dassault EASy II upgrade provides improved safety and better situational awareness through the baseline Service Bulletin feature set including SmartRunway Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS) and selectable Service Bulletin options such as SmartView Synthetic Vision System (SVS), Automatic Descent Mode (ADM) and XM&tr ade; Graphical Weather.Airspace and airport access is improved and navigation capability enhanced with baseline Service Bulletin features including temperature compensation and RNP AR 0.3, and with the optional Enhanced Nav – LPV Service Bulletin. Additionally, the Dassault EASy II upgrade also provides the opportunity to prepare for future regulatory requirements with the optional Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) Service Bulletin and the future Service Bulletin option, Controller/Pilot Data Link (CPDLC).

"In addition to its robust set of features, installing EASy II increases the overall value of the aircraft," Thomas said.
