Andrew Morris Joins Flightsafety International

Named Director, Commercial Air Transport Simulator Sales

Andrew Morris has joined FlightSafety International as Director, Commercial Air Transport Simulator Sales. 

“We are pleased to welcome Andrew (pictured) to FlightSafety,” said John Van Maren, Vice President, Simulation Products and Services. “His proven ability to develop strategic relationships with commercial airlines made him the ideal choice for this important position. Our current and prospective Customers will benefit from Andrew’s 40 years of industry experience and his commitment to provide the highest quality products and services that meet their individual needs.” 

His main responsibilities are to identify and pursue new business opportunities for FlightSafety’s advanced technology simulation products and comprehensive services among operators of commercial aircraft. This includes developing and promoting products and services that meet the current and future needs of this important segment. “Andrew’s experience and insights will help to expand and strengthen FlightSafety’s global reach and leadership position,” added John Van Maren.

Andrew is a senior marketing and business development leader, with a strong aerospace engineering background and broad experience in the development and sales of complex aerospace and defense systems. He has worked extensively in North America as well as international markets, including Europe, China and Australia.

His prior experience includes positions in engineering and business development with CAE in Montreal, and in international sales and strategic development business for Rockwell Collins Simulation. He most recently served as Vice President, Business Development for TRU Simulation and Training. 

Andrew received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Design from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
