Dedicated Fleet Management Program Adds To Offerings
Pratt & Whitney Canada launched
an all-new Fleet Management Program at Heli-Expo 2008. The new
program is designed to meet the wide-ranging engine maintenance
needs of helicopter customers around the world.
Company officials say the new Fleet Management Program (FMP)
offers helicopter customers a combination of cost stability and
simplicity. Customers pay a guaranteed rate that recognizes the
demanding and often changing operating environments in which their
helicopter fleets operate. The FMP, which also covers spare
engines, ensures no re-calculations within a range of flight
conditions.
"The new FMP, which is a first in this market, demonstrates our
strong commitment to develop innovative, dependable solutions that
speak directly to what our customers tell us they need," said Eva
Azoulay, Commercial Director of P&WC's Service Centres
organization. "We are excited about this new offering and believe
that it adds great value for helicopter customers."
P&WC offers a range of plans that fixes a customer's
operating costs over the long term. The result is a cost-effective,
"no surprise" maintenance environment. Moreover, maintenance is
performed to high quality standards at P&WC-owned or designated
maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities.
Customers of P&WC-powered helicopters also benefit from the
company's global customer support, over one-half billion hours of
in-service experience and one of the most extensive support
networks in the industry, including over 30 company-owned and
designated service facilities.
P&WC also touts field support representatives on all major
continents, mobile repair teams available around the clock, and the
largest pool of P&WC rental and exchange engines in the
industry.
