America Jet Acquires Full Service FBO At America's Fuel Stop - Salina Airport

Fill 'Er Up!

America Jet has opened a full service FBO in the former Midway Aviation facilities at an expanding Salina Municipal Airport (KS), which it says is fast becoming "America's Fuel Stop."

Jerry Moore, who operated the Fixed Base Operation (FBO) previously, is once again operating the facility that annually pumps more than 2,000,000 gallons of jet fuel and av gas into cross-country transient aircraft that stop at SLN situated near the geographical center of America. America Jet is a Phillips Performance Center offering Phillips 66 jet fuel and av gas at competitive prices with a low airport fuel flowage fee.

"I am delighted to be back operating the only full service FBO at Salina. We welcome with open arms both corporate traffic and military turns," says Jerry Moore, President of America Jet. "Please check us out the next time you are anywhere near the middle part of the country. You'll find us friendly, customer-focused and willing to go the extra mile to make your stop in Salina quick and comfortable," he added.

In addition to the quick-turn line service, complete with modern maintenance facilities, GPU, catering, de-ice, lav service, air starts, air stairs, and cabin cleaning, America Jet offers a choice of on demand charter aircraft. It accepts all major credit cards and BlueStem, Phoenix Fuel, World Fuel, Western Petroleum, Colt, Avcard, and UV Air.

Salina Municipal Airport now offers parallel runways of 13,337 feet and 4,300 feet and an 8,500-foot crosswind runway to accommodate its 95,000 annual operations. Airport frequencies are ATIS 120.15 GND 121.9 TWR 119.3. SLN is about 150 NM west of Kansas City International.

America Jet is the only full service FBO at the Salina Municipal Airport. It is located off Taxiway C under the Phillips 66 sign.
