AD: Learjet, Inc., Airplanes

AD NUMBER: 2017-11-09

PRODUCT: Certain Learjet, Inc., Model 60 airplanes.

ACTION: Final Rule; request for comments

SUMMARY: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2017-08-07 for the aircraft listed above.

AD 2017-08-07 required a one-time inspection of the fuselage skin for corrosion, and related investigative and corrective actions if necessary.

This new AD retains the actions of AD 2017-08-07 and removes certain airplanes from the applicability.

This AD was prompted by a determination that only certain airplanes are affected by the unsafe condition.

The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

DATES: This AD is effective May 30, 2017. Comments must be received by July 14, 2017.
