FAA Approves Able Aerospace PMA For Bell 407

Tail Rotor Output Shaft Replacement Part Certified For Installation

The FAA has awarded Mesa, AZ-based Able Aerospace approval of a new tail rotor output shaft replacement part (PMA) for the Bell 407 aircraft. The FAA approved PMA option continues Able's response to industry demand and further expands its deep bench of safe and reliable Bell 407 solutions.

"Able has a long history of providing cost-effective, readily available and FAA approved solutions for the Bell 407 community," said Greg Guidera, Director of Business Development for Able Aerospace. "We are proud of this latest expansion and of our ability to provide the only other industry alternative when supplies for this part are low or out of stock"

The tail rotor output shaft (Able part number 4AA-040-416-103) is part of the tail rotor gearbox assembly. It replaces Bell part number 407-040-416-103. Able replacement parts are immediately available at a significant savings. Combined with Able's other PMA and repair solutions, the new FAA approval provides operators with a one stop, single source for continuing to drive down the cost of Bell 407 maintenance.
