Hartzell Propeller—the storied, Piqua, Ohio-based manufacturer of composite and aluminum aircraft propellers, propeller spinners, governors, and ice-protection systems—will grace the upcoming 2023 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) with its latest carbon-fiber propeller systems.

Certified for unlimited life, Hartzell's carbon-fiber propeller blades feature stainless-steel wedge-retention and electroformed nickel-cobalt leading-edges.

NBAA-BACE 2023 spans 17-19 October and will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hartzell Propeller will display its composite products, including advanced technology turboprop propellers, at Booth C7516 in the event’s Central Hall.

NBAA-BACE 2023 will see Hartzell Propeller commemorate the 60th anniversary of Pratt & Whitney’s introduction of its incomparably-reliable, insuperably-popular PT6 series reverse-flow, free-turbine engines. Since 1920, Pratt & Whitney engines have logged billions of flight-hours—many behind Hartzell propellers.  

Raisbeck Engineering’s NBAA-EBACE 2023 display will showcase a Hartzell-manufactured, next-generation, five-blade, carbon-fiber, swept propeller designed specifically for Beechcraft’s ubiquitous King Air 250 model twin-turboprop business aircraft. Raisbeck, which will display at Booth C7534, holds an STC for five-blade, structural-composite propeller upgrades on Beechcraft’s King Air 350 series aircraft.

Hartzell Propeller will also join Pilatus Aircraft in celebrating the two-thousandth delivery of the Swiss plane-maker’s popular PC-12 single-engine turboprop business/utility aircraft—the entirety of which leave the company’s Stans, Switzerland factory equipped with Hartzell propellers.

French airframer Daher, too, factory-installs Hartzell’s five-blade composite propellers on its Kodiak 900 single-engine turboprop utility aircraft. Hartzell’s five-blade composite propeller has been approved, also, for new and retrofitted Kodiak 100 aircraft. Moreover, Daher flies Hartzell’s five-blade swept propellers across its entire line of TBM-900 series single-engine turboprop business aircraft.

Perennially-popular American general aviation marque Piper Aircraft appoints the whole of its newly-built M-Class single-engine turboprop business aircraft with Hartzell structural-composite propellers.

St. Paul, Minnesota aircraft modifier Wipaire is currently in the late stages of securing an STC authorizing installation of Hartzell’s four-blade carbon-fiber propeller on Cessna’s 208 Caravan turboprops.

Finally, Waco, Texas-based Blackhawk Aerospace holds an STC germane to the inclusion of Hartzell’s five-blade, structural-composite propellers in the company’s King Air 300 engine and propeller upgrade program.
