What Time, Zulu?

Clearly-Marked Wall Clock Dispels All Doubt

It's about time -- that somebody gave us an edge at getting un-confused about Zulu Time.

Those Zulus, anyway -- they just don't send out press releases. Of course, they don't have to -- the world revolves -- literally -- around Zulu time.

Whether you're in Alabama or Afghanistan, if you're flying, you need to know what time it is. It's handy to know the local time -- after all, who wants to be late for dinner? It's essential, though, once you're talking about flying, that you know Zulu.

Particularly as we change back and forth for Daylight Saving Time, or fly from an airport in another time zone, we pilots have the tendency to sometimes make dumb mistakes. This clock should help.

It doesn't care on what meridian your FBO sits; it's always right. Twice a year (when you change the single AA battery at the Daylight Savings Time / Standard Time changeover), you set the local time, and Zulu is ready for you. ...and because it's battery-powered, you don't need to worry about local power outages, either.

Set it once and know your current Zulu time instantly. 10" diameter -- it's big enough to see, small enough to fit.

Two distinct hour hands set independently, one for 12-hour local time, a red 24-hour hand (that you don't need to mess with) for UTC (GMT) time.

Available in black face, white face, white/black accent, black/white accent. $29.95, from the good folks at ANN Sponsor Comm1.
