Also: FAA Disappoints On MOSAIC Progress, Cicare 8, DeltaHawk Progress, ‘Kay’s Speedster’

Jim Campbell finally got the chance to fly the Carbon Cub UL... off a grass strip and a recently plowed farm field... and liked what he found...

Join us for part of the flight test. BEDE Aircraft, renowned for decades of innovative light aircraft designs, has recently announced a strategic partnership with SureWings. This collaboration aims to integrate SureWings' cutting-edge avionics and safety systems into BEDE's aircraft lineup, enhancing performance, reliability, and safety. Bede Aviation was specifically formed by Gratia Aero Group to make use of a license from Bede Aero to continue manufacturing, selling, and supporting the BD-4C airframe. They flew all the way across the Atlantic in a Rotax-powered Risen... burning only 42 gallons... and we finally got a close look at what could be the coolest aircraft at AirVenture. Sporting gorgeous workmanship, evident even after thousands of miles of transatlantic efforts, the Rotax-powered Risen is a stunner. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
