Aviation Safety Awareness Weekend With Rich Stowell

Scanlon Aviation Hosting Free Seminars, Clinics, Training At Gnoss Field

Scanlon Aviation, a flight training, services, and maintenance provider at Gnoss Field Airport (KDVO) in Novato, California, announced it is hosting a FREE aviation safety awareness training during the weekend of September 18-21.

There will be a free safety seminar on Thursday, September 18 at 7 pm, and from Friday to Sunday, September 19-21, a hands-on training clinic will be held with master CFI and world-renowned aerobatics instructor Rich Stowell.

The Thursday evening seminar will cover stall/spin accident scenarios: learn the importance of awareness, avoidance, and recovery. There will be a discussion of the myths and realities surrounding these scenarios. Eligible for WINGS credit.

The hands-on clinics with Stowell will focus on emergency maneuvers training, aerobatics, and more.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-registration is required for the hands-on training portion of the event.

Scanlon Aviation is a flight training provider with a focus on Cirrus aircraft, advanced training, and simulators. The maintenance shop services all models of general aviation piston aircraft including single-engine and light-twin engine aircraft.
