Enstrom To Attend AirVenture

GA Helicopter Manufacturer Continues its Bounce Back into the Public Eye

Resurgent helicopter manufacturer Enstrom Helicopter Corporation announced it would be returning to AirVenture 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The air show will be celebrating its 71st year, bringing together all quadrants of the aviation scene for a week long shindig chocked to the brim with activities and displays. Enstrom is undoubtedly lured in by the feverish enthusiasm on display there, particularly now that the expo is in full swing - last year, AirVenture had more than 677,000 attendees, setting a record that will probably be broken again this year. That makes it a great opportunity for any helicopter company to make a case for themselves to throngs of prospective buyers, rub elbows with current owner/operators, and build relationships for future growth.

“There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people who share your same passion for aviation,” said Enstrom’s Chief Commercial Officer Dennis Martin. “You could say it’s the one time of year I feel normal.”

Enstrom promises that it will bring out its company representatives for some quality face time with attendees, including owner Chuck Surack.

“Because it’s so close to the factory, we get to bring employees who might otherwise never get to see our shows or meet our customers,” added Martin. “Customers love it also, as they get to talk to the people that actually built their helicopter.”

While stopping by the booth, it might be a good time for AMTs to ask about the Enstrom Helicopter Maintenance course to be held next September. The $1,400 tuition covers a week-long training stint in learning about overhaul, inspection, and maintenance for their range of GA helos.
