Groundbreaking Ceremony Scheduled At Connellsvile, Airport

They're Building A New General Aviation Terminal

The Fayette County Airport Authority (FCAA) in Lemont Furnace, PA, says it will break ground on a new General Aviation Terminal at Connellsville Airport next month.

The ceremonies will be held near the Taylorcraft Hangar at the Airport, at 1400, Thursday, March 3, 2005.

The Connellsville Airport, in the heart of Fayette County, Pennsylvania, provides vital air transportation for the region and the new General Aviation Terminal building is the cornerstone of the FCAA's ambitious improvements program that began in early 2003.

"This event will celebrate our progress and is the result of the hard work and support of many business leaders and key government officials in this community," said FCAA Chairman, Fred K. Davis. "It's important that we carry the success of this project into the future, for the continued economic benefit of our region."
