Best of OSH25: CubCrafters Introduces New Paint Schemes At AirVenture

Signature Evo For Carbon Cub, Evolution X For XCub

CubCrafters, manufacturer of backcountry adventure aircraft, announced at this year’s EAA AirVenture airshow and fly-in at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, two cool new paint schemes for 2025: the Signature Evo for Carbon Cubs and the Evolution X for the XCub and NXCub.

The new looks bring a modern and creative aesthetic to the company’s iconic aircraft to reaffirm its innovative approach to both performance and style.

The Signature Evo scheme blends aggressive lines with refined detailing for a sophisticated and bold look on the ground and in the air. It’s a design for those seeking adventure who also want to make a statement with its exciting visual appeal combined with its well-known backcountry performance.

For the XCub, the Evolution X paint job signifies speed, versatility, and precision to complement the airplane’s backcountry and cross-country capabilities. Its contours complement both nosewheel and tailwheel landings with a modern color palette and imparts a confident and authoritative presence.

Brad Damm, Vice President of CubCrafters said, “These new paint schemes reflect the passion and excitement of our pilots while maintaining the heritage and craftsmanship that make our aircraft unique. Signature Evo and Evolution X are the perfect combination of modern design and timeless adventure.”

The new paint designs are available for customers who order the2025 model Carbon Cubs and XCubs. There are options for further customization to make a design even more personalized.
