ASA Releases Practical Aviation & Aerospace Law

Eighth Edition Includes Companion Workbook

Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA).announced the release of the eighth edition of Practical Aviation & Aerospace Law. The textbook and its companion workbook will serve as a comprehensive guide for both undergraduate and graduate aviation law courses.

The books, by J. Scott Hamilton and Sarah Nilsson, can be used together or as standalone resources and reference guides for aviation and aerospace business managers, pilots, aviation maintenance technicians, and anyone else active in aviation or aerospace professionally or as a hobbyist.

The textbook offers basic legal knowledge and perspectives to understand how the legal system works in the industry. It includes current knowledge of changes in statutory, regulatory, and international treaty law as well as recent judicial decisions. It also includes topics concerning the newly-emerging areas of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), advanced air mobility (AAM), and commercial spaceflight segments as these are only recently becoming more broadly accepted into the industry as well as into global social and cultural awareness. The workbook aids in applying legal principles laid out in the textbook to the kinds of real-world decisions students will face in their careers.

The Practical Aviation & Aerospace Law textbook Hardcover is 520 pages, indexed, also available in eBook and PDF formats at $49.95 each.

The Practical Aviation & Aerospace Law workbook Softcover is 120 pages, also available in eBook and PDF formats at $24.95 each.
