The first Bombardier
Challenger 300 aircraft simulator manufactured by FlightSafety
International, is scheduled to enter service at the company’s
Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington Delaware Learning Center in the
fourth quarter of 2005.
With the addition of the Challenger 300 simulator, FlightSafety
will now offer simulator training on virtually all current
Bombardier built business and regional aircraft. Once installed,
the Challenger 300 simulator will bring FlightSafety’s fleet
of Bombardier aircraft simulators to 50.
The advanced visual and motion systems on this full-flight
simulator will be state-of-the-art, creating the highest level of
fidelity. The simulator will receive FAA Level “D”
certification following its installation at the Learning Center.
Customers will also benefit from FlightSafety’s MatriX
interactive training capabilities, including the SimVu debriefing
systems.
The Challenger 300 simulator features the VITAL-9 visual system.
It will use the new SkyLight 1500 projector for a new level of
brilliance and clarity from the system’s VITAL-9 image
generator.
FlightSafety offers training on most Bombardier Learjet,
Challenger, Global Express, CRJ and Q series aircraft. It is
available at the company’s Learning Centers in Wilmington,
Delaware; Cincinnati, Ohio; Tucson, Arizona; Seattle-Tacoma,
Washington; Wichita, Kansas; Dallas, Texas; West Palm Beach,
Florida; Houston, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Memphis, Tennessee: and
in Toronto and Montreal, Canada.
