Ethiopian Airlines Flight Data Recorder Found

Instrument In Nearly 4,000 Feet Of Water Off The Coast Of Lebanon

The Lebanese Army said Thursday the flight data recorder from the Ethiopian Boeing 737 which went down Monday has been located. The "black box" is in nearly 4 thousand feet of water in the Mediterranean Sean

The aircraft with 90 people aboard went down shortly after takeoff early Monday about two miles west of the town of Na'ameh, 9 miles south of Beirut.

CNN reports that the remains of only 14 of those people have been recovered. While the FDR has been found, it has yet to be pulled from the bottom of the ocean.
