SUMMARY: This document publishes in the Federal Register an amendment adopting Airworthiness Directive (AD)2003-14-51, which was sent previously to all known U.S. owners and operators of the specified MD900 Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI) helicopters by individual letters. This AD requires checking and inspecting each main rotor blade retention bolt (bolt) and replacing the bolt with an airworthy bolt if necessary.The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent failure of a bolt, loss of main rotor blade, and subsequent loss of control of the helicopter.
