AgEagle Aerial Systems Delivers First 20 eBee VISION Drones To French Army

$3.4M Deal Includes 49 Original Units Plus Spares

AgEagle announced it delivered the first 20 of 49 eBee VISION full-stack systems to its reseller for French Army surveillance operations.

Each system includes an eBee VISION UAV, ground controller systems, antenna and communications package, and a tactical backpack for deployment in the field. The entire purchase order of 49 units also includes a comprehensive package of spare parts for a total purchase valued at $3.4 million.

Bill Irby, AgEagle President said, “This marks a significant milestone in our defense market growth strategy. Our best-in-class rapidly deployable unmanned vehicle products continue to provide high-value intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to military operations. We look forward to expanding our support of allied and U.S. military customers as we remain committed to building long-term shareholder value.”

The eBee VISION system is designed for real-time situational awareness for public safety and military intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) applications. The UAS is carried in a backpack, hand-launched, and is controlled by a single pilot for fast relocation and deployment in rapidly-changing environments. The eBee is capable of visual and thermal (IR) imaging, even when GPS satellites are unavailable or in GNSS-denied conditions. The two-way comms between operator and UAS are validated as cyber-secure with AES-256 encryption, which the U.S. government has named the encryption standard for government and military applications.
