NBAA: Collegiate Connect Day Offers Opportunities To Students

House Representatives Will Be Featured Speakers

The National Business Aviation Association notes that US House Representatives Dina Titus and Sam Graves will be  featured speakers at Collegiate Connect Day on Thursday, October 14 at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, NV.

Both leaders are well known in Washington for their dedication to matters relating to the aviation industry. Graves serves as the co-chair for the House General Aviation Caucus, and has been representing Missouri’s 6th congressional district since 2001. Titus was elected to congress in 2008- and serves as dean of the Nevada congressional delegation.

NBAA frequently engages with both representatives on a variety of matters that are important to the industry. Graves has been a speaker 3 times and Titus 2 times in the fairly recent past.

“We are tremendously pleased to welcome these dedicated and tireless aviation advocates to NBAA’s convention, and we thank them for their participation in Collegiate Connect Day, which is focused on introducing students to the many opportunities throughout our industry,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.

“Their involvement demonstrates the significant role of business aviation across our country and the importance of developing a new generation to lead our industry toward a bright and exciting future.”

Collegiate Connect Day will highlight a variety of student-focused sessions and programming, as well as the opportunity for students to visit the hundreds of exhibitors and a wide range of aircraft on display at NBAA-BACE.

Speed-mentoring with young professionals is available and a panel discussion about engaging with local and regional groups to volunteer, advocate and pursue professional development, as well as the opportunity to sign up for resume or LinkedIn profile reviews, and network with others at the NBAA booth.
