BBA Aviation ERO Changes Role For Lafayette, Louisiana Facility

Repair Shop Will Shift To A Support and Logistics Center

BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) is transforming its Lafayette, Louisiana component repair operation into a support and logistics center. The component repair work currently being done at the facility will be moved to the Dallas Airmotive Heritage Park facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

"This action is in line with our long-term strategy of growing our component repair business," stated BBA Aviation ERO President Hugh McElroy. "To maximize the efficiency of component repair and growth of the latest technology, we are going to concentrate this work at our two dedicated Centers of Excellence - Dallas, Texas and Portsmouth, England. By treating this work as a standalone business, we can streamline the operation and speed the turn times on these critical and high demand items."

The Lafayette logistics operation will now report through ERO's parts distribution company International Turbine Services (ITS). "Leading our support and logistics efforts in Lafayette will be Deanna Suire with whom our customers are already acquainted. She will serve as the focal point for exchanges, pickup and delivery of parts and expediting orders. Those operators who know Deanna already know that she will ensure the delivery of the finest support. Quality, speed and service are of utmost importance to rotorcraft operators. Dallas Airmotive knows this and is working tirelessly to deliver the best service of its kind in the industry."
